Beyond the Disney Parks: Resort Edition

Updated: Nov 4, 2019

Hey there everyone, Adam here. Many of you know that I am part of the amazing community of Cast Members that make up the Walt Disney World resort. Also, that I call the Disney Resorts home. #BeyondTheParks #DisneyResorts #WDW When guests, friends, family and so many others ask me "Do you get tired of working for Disney?" My response is a definite no, there is so much to explore in Disney, it creates new and amazing experiences from inside the parks to outside the parks.

Hold up; You're thinking to yourself now there is more to do outside the 4 theme parks?!!!

For many of you that have gone to Disney world multiple times, yes and probably know where I am going to write next.

But for those of you reading for the first time, have gone less than once or have never, been to the Walt Disney Resort, well you will be happy to know that we have more to offer besides the 4 parks.

Disney has so many aspects to outside the parks that more awesome reads will come later, but for now lets focus on one of my favorite out of the parks aspects of Disney...RESORTS!!!

Disney resorts really make your Disney trip magical, from the styles of resorts, to the dinning, room, amenities and the friendly Cast Members to help. Disney resorts are here to help make the trip more magical and discover even more magic outside of the parks.

From the larger than life All Star Resorts, the island life of the Caribbean Beach Resort, the grandest resort on property, The Grand Floridian, to the unique stay of Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, there are so many different magical experiences to be had.

Each Disney resort offers its own theme, which is cool in itself, but with each you can tell a Disney touch makes the resorts shine with Disney magic. If you want a day off from the park or if you don't have any park days left, here is my tip; spend a day resort hopping. Trust me, it's easy to do.

I recommend if resort hopping, take a bus to Disney Springs and transfer to the bus stop going to the resort you want to visit. Or if you have a vehicle, just drive and show ID saying you are going for the resort just for a bit to eat. You will be able to park and explore the resort and discover the magic that makes the Disney resort and my home a true Gem to the Disney property.

Thank you for taking the time to read the first of many awesome reads, and I will have more to come in the near future.
